The inaugural year of Emmaus Christian High School in the village of Kizigo Uganda, is underway, with the 9th Grade class now in session. Connecting electricity from Kizigo Corn Mill to Emmaus School has paved the way to move ahead with dormitory construction, part of the school's master plan. A dorm with electricity and the associated benefits to these facilities, will attract families in the cities of Jinja and Kampala to send their kids to this new High School. Ugandan families who live in Urban areas, strongly value a "country experience" for their children. This coupled with a growing reputation for academic excellence, makes Emmaus a very attractive place for a great education. Here, the next generation is being equipped as the future professionals and leaders of their country.
